No. WireByt is engineered specifically to interface with legacy factory setups. Our IoT gateways pull telemetry directly from your active PLC loops and serial communication lines without requiring machinery replacements or process stops.
We follow a swift 4-phase rollout: 1) Register Mapping Audit (1-2 days) to map serial loops, 2) WireNode gateway DIN-rail mounting & configuration (1 day), 3) BytBoard subdomain workspace setup (2 days), and 4) Operator calibration & handover (1 day).
BytBoard interfaces natively with REST APIs, Modbus RTU/TCP, secure high-throughput message brokers, SQL databases, SAP ERP, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to unify your field operations.
If bidirectional setpoint writes are enabled (e.g., chamber temperature changes), BytBoard validates role privileges, routes encrypted parameters down to the gateway via message queues, writes to the Modbus register, and audits the command logs for compliance.
Every client receives a completely isolated database schema served through a unique SSL-secured subdomain. All telemetry flows are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, and all control actions require multi-factor role credentials to keep physical architectures private and hidden.
Operational telemetry is hosted inside secure, geographically redundant data centers employing state-of-the-art encryption protocols. We use optimized time-series datastores and secure servers to isolate and secure backend structures.
